PARKING
On the village square. It is 10-15 minutes' walk to the entrance to the castle. Small car park at the castle for persons of reduced mobility: please contact reception staff via the terminal located at the Rue des Cochers entrance.
ACCESSIBILITY
Lichtenberg Castle owes its name to the radiant hill on which it is built. This is why access is difficult for persons of reduced mobility (narrow, sandy paths, numerous stairways, sometimes uneven surfaces...). Several obstacles may also hinder visits by partially sighted people.
Come and spend some time in the shop where you will find postcards, little figurines, books on various themes, walking maps... and much else besides at reasonable prices to offer as gifts or as a souvenir of your visit to Lichtenberg!
PICNIC AREAS
Tables and benches are available all over the site so you can take a break in the shade or in the sunshine.
Lichtenberg Castle is situated in the heart of the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Reserve, an unspoilt setting teeming with flora and fauna:
